Responsible for ensuring that advertising spots schedule and bill according to the ad sales contracts.  Perform the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks associated with contracts; ad copy; managing inventory; building, adjusting, and verifying logs.

Perform tasks supporting the traffic, programming and billing function within the Ad Sales department.  Accuracy and attention to detail is extremely important.  Perform under deadline pressure is expected; ability to multi-task a must.

Coordinate with technicians, sales personnel and managers to assist in daily Traffic functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and revise contracts correctly and promptly.
  • Enter and revise ad copy correctly and promptly.
  • Assist in managing inventory.
  • Adjust logs accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Deliver accurate schedules to the Uplink equipment in a timely manner.
  • Confirm and adjust schedules as needed on insertion gear.
  • Analyze and adjust verifications accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Notify sales personnel &/or clients of contract discrepancies.
  • Ensure that revenue loss is kept below established percentage of projected revenue.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisors and co-workers at all times regarding work issues.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident.
  • Cross-train with-in the department.

Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree preferred; or Associates and 2 years related experience.  Knowledge of personal computers and data entry required and must be comfortable with multiple operating systems and software applications.  Familiarity with Novar and SeaChange preferred.  Must be able to work extended hours as required.

Skills & Qualifications
Requires extended periods of sitting and keyboard use (up to eight hours in a day).  Travel by auto or air may be required on occasion.
