Vail Resorts, one of the leading resort operators in North America is hiring a Marketing Manager. The position will be located at our beautiful Broomfield, CO offices and will support the traditional/offline media efforts for Corporate and Resort segments of our business.
The role of this position will be to assist with the management of programs that represent all 5 of our resorts. Responsibilities will include: management of creative assets (print collateral, online, radio, advertising, video), assistance in the development of sales/retail support materials, management of related budgets, and overall project management. This position will also manage day-to-day relationships with creative agencies and vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with the Sr. Marketing Manager to execute strategy and tactics for multiple programs which include email campaigns, direct mail efforts, online content, events and retail partnerships.
· Manage day-to-day relationships with agencies/vendors by tracking hours, processing payments and acting as the primary contact to communicate the needs of the company.
· Assist with the development of support materials for internal departments (international, group, wholesale sales, IED, Inside Sales Desk, Air, Strategic Alliance, etc) as well as merchant and front range.
· Assist with the development of collateral for external partners including signage, brochures, retail POP.
· Liasioning with brand/division marketing/sales personnel, and product/sales/service managers to capture collateral needs.
· Proofing and editing all collateral content for accuracy
· Hold creative agency status meetings to monitor projects.
· Manage graphic standards of varying programs through requests for graphic assets such as logo treatments, corporate tagline, and internal employee logo
· Assist with various projects as assigned by the VP of Integrated Marketing Services.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree
· 3-5 plus years in marketing and experience managing agencies
· Experience managing print projects from conception to completion
· Must be detail oriented and exhibit a commitment to follow-through with all projects
· Excellent writing skills required and copywriting experience preferred
· Superior project management skills & the ability to multi-task
· Strong problem solving skills; must be proactive in seeking solutions
· Professional demeanor – the ability to positively interact with people in all levels of an organization or business
· Familiarity with graphic standards, enforcing those standards
· Familiarity with sourcing additional vendors/promotional resources
