KMGH-TV is currently seeking an Operations Technician to join their team.
Individual will work in several areas in the technical department to meet the operational demands of the station. Responsible for general technical operating assignments, including but not limited to on-air automation for multiple broadcast streams, commercial and programming ingest, coordination of live truck and satellite live shots, and ingest operations for newscasts.
Candidates must have at least two years experience in television news engineering operations. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of broadcast automation system and ENG/SNG receive systems required. This is a seven-day a week, twenty-four hour per day operation. Irregular hours and scheduling can be expected. Days off and job assignments will vary. Overtime should be expected. Spanish/English Bi-lingual skills a plus.
